SQL Server 2000 - Service Pack 4 SetUp problem

Hi,

I am trying to install Service Pack 4 to set up the SQL Server 2000 but I am having problem. When I clicked the setup.bat, the screen just "froze" with the message " validating user. Please wait..."

What seem to be the problem? Please help!!!

If your account is not priviledged to do an update on the SQL Server (The account must have sysadmin access to SQL Server) then you won′t be able to make the update of the server. Try to login with your Windows accoutn credentials on SQL Server to see if you have access to the system databases which are changed during the update process.
