Adding users
Good morning,
We have Windows Server 2003 SP1 with Sharepoint Server 2007.
This server is not the main server with AD. This means Sharepoint cannot see any users. We want this server to be stand -alone. How can I add users from my main server with AD?

Im just a wee bit lost in your question but I will try to assist:
So you have a Domain im assuming.... the DC (Domain Controller) can and should be on its own. I mean it can all be on the same box but its not considered a best practice.
So assuming you have a box dedicated for Sharepoint.... Some of the first questions would come up.... What are you using as your Database Server.... SQL or SQL Express. Are they on the same box? Or do you have a dedicated SQL Server.
THis path im going down can go on for pages so paying a visit to Technet would be of benefit to you for alot of this.
Regarding the Authentication... If the Server is part of your Domain you should have no problem with getting users into sharepoint.
