"Edit this Task" button availability in Word 2007

Hi,

I've got a SharePoint 2007 workflow that runs against Word documents. The tasks for the documents each have InfoPath forms. I want to display these forms inside MS Word, when the user opens up the document. I know this can be done - I've seen the screenshots - but I can't get the 'Edit this Task' button to appear below the ribbon.

This doesn't seem to work for the OOB workflows either. Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong? What needs set that isn't?

Further info - I tried this on a different system using the OOB workflows - and on it, the 'Edit this Task' button appeared, but clicking on it didn't do anything

The fact that the OOB workflows don't work either leads me to think it's an environmental issue. Any ideas anyone? I self signed my InfoPath form - would that cause an issue?

I'm experiencing the same problem with the "Edit this Task" button being visible but nothing happens when you click it Sad

I am also having this problem but in Office 2007 Ultimate generally. Any place the "Edit this task" button shows up for a workflow generated task from Sharepoint 2007, I can click but nothing appears to happen. This happens with tasks that are owned by me as well as ones belonging to a group.

However, I tried clicking the "Edit this task" button while rebooting the Sharepoint server and a little status message came up saying it was checking the Sharepoint server. Is there a configuration setting I need to set in Sharepoint to get this working? If anyone has any light to shed on this issue, I would appreciate the help.

A little further info, 'cos I finally chased this down a bit - that Edit in Task button isn't available in Office Professional - we uninstalled it, and installed Enterprise, and the button magically appeared. And worked!

I believe Professional Plus is the minimum you need.
