InfoPath form errors on Submit
I have designed a form using InfoPath 2007, but saved it as InfoPath 2003 template (because most of the users are still on InfoPath 2003) and published to a MOSS document library site. The form has Submit button which has no custom code, but a rule set to concatenate couple of fields and submit it to the document library.
If I one my users create a new document from the site, on his/her machine (has InfoPath 2003) and submit the form, it works great. But if they go to the site and edit an already uploaded document (even the one they created) and submit it again it errors out saying "The file is in use by another application or user". Sometimes even though it gives the error, any updates to the document has been saved in the document library.
This problem does not happen if I open the document from my machine (has InfoPath 2007) on it and update the document and submit it back again.
Has anyone seen this behavior? Any resolutions or suggestions would be appreciated.
