WSS v3 & AD synchronisation issues

Hi,

I would like to know how WSS 3.0 synchronises with Active Directory. We uprgaded from WSS2 to WSS 3.0 a few weeks ago and we have noticed that the AD users have been automatically populated in the 'People and groups'. So now we have 300 users from AD sitting there. The issue is that the information from AD is not getting refreshed. We have disabled some users in AD and added some new one's in but this info is not getting replicated in WSS. How are they liked up/synchronised? Are there any settings we need to set/change?

Have you enabled the incremental and full updates? This is done in the SSP settings under the user profile section.
