How to create a Report Center site?
I am recently having some hard time joining you. We've just completed our first SharePoint customization project and are starting the next one which is simple business intelligence site.
I played a bit with excel KPIs on a MOSS 2007 RTM and were glad with what we have out-of-the-box. Everything was going fine until we had some problems with the electricity and that MOSS installation went out of order.
On the other MOSS installation, the very same version, there was no built-in Report Center. I tried to add a Report Center site, but in the site templates there was no Report Center item.
Then I checked ..\12\TEMPLATE\1033\XML\webtempsps.xml and here it was:

I performed a full text search in all SharePoint folders for this dependancy GUID and discovered that it stands for the Premium Site Stapling feature.
Thanks to Patrick Tissenghem I checked what features I have running and this was not among them. Here is Patrick's tool for checking farm features:

I did the same to what was left of the machine that had the Report Center working and it had that feature installed.
So, what can I do to intall this premium site stapling feature?
I have a PREMIUMSITESTAPLING folder under ..\12\TEMPLATE\FEATURES containing feature.xml and premiumsitestapling.xml exactly the same was as the other machine.
I tried to comment the feature dependency attribute and the Report Center template appeared on the site creation page. But when I tried to add a site I got the following error:
Feature '2510d73f-7109-4ccc-8a1c-314894deeb3a' is not installed in this farm, and can not be added to this scope. According to Kit Kai's blog (http://community.sgdotnet.org/blogs/kitkai/archive/2006/11/07/Feature-GUID.aspx ) this stands for Report Library feature, which also turned out not to be installed. Please help me get some clues about how to solve this because this way the nice MOSS BI features are completely unusable to me. Any help is greatly appreciated
